Hamkae Center (formerly known as NAKASEC) is a grassroots organization based in Virginia that empowers Asian Americans to achieve racial, economic and social justice. The organization mobilizes marginalized communities through civic engagement, public policy advocacy, and community events. Their 2022 rebrand symbolizes unity through shared a shared history (Hamkae = Korean for "together") and signals a renewed mission to build a powerful AAPI community in Virginia. 

Throughout our multi-year partnership, I have created print and digital marketing materials for both Hamkae and NAKASEC. My intention for this body of work is to be a joyful celebration of community and finding power through unity.
